General Manager - Andrew Foulkes

After graduating from Bournemouth University with a BA Honours in Hospitality Management, Andrew Foulkes started his career at Heston Blumenthals’ Fat Duck and after a year and a half rose to a Demi Chef de Partie.

Under the guidance of Richard Guest and Kit Chapman MBE, Andrew spent the next two and a half years as a Sous Chef at The Castle in Taunton honing his skills in the kitchen.

The next seven years of Andrew’s career was spent at Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons where a promotion to Kitchen Manager was quickly followed by a rise to Employee Development Manager; responsible for training and development of employees. By 2009, Andrew Foulkes was Operations Manager overseeing all departments at Le Manoir.

Having joined Gidleigh Park late in 2011 as General Manager, he is looking forward to the year ahead managing one of the most skilled and dedicated hospitality teams in the U.K.
