There is such a diverse range of events in Devon the only difficulty is deciding which ones to choose.
Saturday 8th March
Moretonhampsted Food Festival
Up to 100 exhibitors will be present - mainly food and drink producers but with a few arts related exhibitors as well. In addition there are cookery demonstrations in the Parish Hall and a Bakery Demonstration at Midfields Granola unit in Betton Way. With children's activities: music in St Andrews Chruch and in Greenhill; an Arts trail; Arts exhibition in Greenhill Arts Centre a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Friday 14th – Sunday 30th March
Exeter Vibraphonic Music Festival – Various locations
Vibraphonic is Exeter's urban music festival featuring local and international bands, films and workshops. Expect to hear jazz, soul, blues, reggae, electronica, funk, D'n'B and world music.
Saturday 12th April
ExeFest will be a day of traditional music and dance, all in the beautiful surrounds of the Double Locks pub on the banks of the Exeter Canal. Music will start from 12pm.
Exeter Food and Drink Festival
Friday 25th - Sunday 27th April
The Festival is an annual event held in the courtyard of Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens, right in the centre of Exeter. Taking place over three days, the Festival also includes two evening Festival After Dark Events featuring live music, chef demos and a great atmosphere.
Friday 2nd May - Sunday 4th May
Paington Bike Festival
Organised by BMAD - Bikers Make A Difference - this is a charity festival featuring 3 days of live music, stunt bikes and motorbikes alongside trade stands and other entertainment in the events arena.
Thursday 22nd – Saturday 24th May
Devon County Show – Westpoint Arena
The Devon County Show is the biggest (and best!) event in the county calendar and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day out sampling the many wonders of the local countryside.

Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival
Expect hot air balloons; evening ‘Fire and Light’ shows; falconry displays; various main ring events; over 20 live music acts; Taste of the West caterers serving the best of local produce; local ales; a planetarium; children’s workshops; a Kids Zone; a Food & Drink Pavilion; a Craft Marquee and more.
Saturday 21st June
Axe Vale Festival of Gardening & Crafts – The showground, Axminster
Probably the best gardening & crafts show in the south west.
Friday 18th - Saturday 19th July
Chagstock is a well set up, very family friendly festival, suitable for young and not so young alike, with no focus on any particular music genre, and offering a blend of music to suit a wide range of tastes. Alongside the music, there's a decent selection of food and drink, and lots other entertainment around the site to keep the kids occupied.

Mid Devon Show – Tiverton
The best one day agricultural show in the west. The Mid Devon Show offers a fun day out for all the family.

Sidmouth Folk Week
Sidmouth Folk Week is a unique week-long seaside celebration of music, dance and song taking place in the charming East Devon regency coastal resort – a must in every festival goer’s annual diary.

Beautiful Days Festival
Beautiful Days is the Levellers music and family festival which takes place at Escot Park in the heart of Devon in August.
Thursday 21st August
A fun day out for the whole family in the heart of Dartmoor with lots of animals, delicious local food and drink, floral displays and beautiful crafts plus a great range of equestrian events.
